Band bio: Ruben Gonzales was a San Francisco Bay Area native who played a huge role in the sonic structure of Rose Haze since his inception in 2019. He was a multi-instrumentalist, sound designer, engineer, and producer. Throughout his musical career, he weaved in and out of post-punk, shoegaze, and noise scenes. He favored improvisation and heavy-laden effects between energetic chaos and mellow ambient textures. His pedal boards were always coveted. He engineered, mixed, and produced all of Rose Haze’s music since he joined in 2019.
